When we decided to pursue a fighting rifle as a company, the development team had one requirement: robust reliability with the best components available. Our team leveraged decades of experience across multiple theaters of end users and weapons builders to ensure that it will never be the limiting factor in your performance, no matter what situation you carry our products to.
The first order of business was to ensure a properly gassed rifle for suppressed and unsuppressed functionality. After testing multiple solutions, we determined a MK2 Recoil system from BCM with a Sprinco Green with an appropriately sized gas port was the best option. This combination provides a buttery-smooth cycle and low recoil impulse for rapid, consistent follow-up shoots.
Being that the Bolt Carrier Group is the heart of the rifle we decided to go back to the drawing board on our BCG. We decided on an ArmorLube DLC coating on the BCG, Gas Key, Bolt, and Cam Pin for its superior corrosion and wear resistance. The gas key is sealed with Permatex Red to prevent any leakage at that junction, secured with OCKS screws, and staked in place. The bolt head features a dual ejector design, powered by Sprinco springs and gas rings for the very best performance and consistent function.
